For Cottage Cheese Balls
- Paneer / Cottage Cheese – 250 gms.
- Maida / Plain flour – 2 tbsp
- Salt (as per the taste)
- Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp.
- Green Chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
- Green Coriander – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Milk – 2 tbsp
For the Gravy
- Tomato purée – 2 tbsp
- Green Chilli – 2 finely chopped
- Onion – 2 tbsp finely chopped
- Ginger – garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
- Coconut milk – 1/4 cup
- salt to taste
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
Recipe
For the Balls ( Koftas )
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to make a soft dough. Divide the dough to make 12 small balls.
- Place them on a microwave-proof plate and microwave on high for 1 minute. Keep aside.
For the Gravy
- Combine all ingredients except coconut milk in a microwave safe bowl & heat on high in a microwave safe bowl for 3 minutes.
- Add coconut milk and balls in the gravy and heat on high for 1 minute.
Your easy cottage cheese balls gravy is ready to eat – try it with rice or boiled noodles or with bread 🙂
