For Cottage Cheese Balls

  • Paneer / Cottage Cheese – 250 gms.
  • Maida / Plain flour – 2 tbsp
  • Salt (as per the taste)
  • Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp.
  • Green Chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green Coriander – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Milk – 2 tbsp

For the Gravy

  • Tomato purée – 2 tbsp
  • Green Chilli – 2 finely chopped
  • Onion – 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Ginger – garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut milk – 1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Water – 1/2 cup

Recipe

For the Balls ( Koftas )

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to make a soft dough. Divide the dough to make 12  small balls.
  • Place them on a microwave-proof plate and microwave on high for 1 minute. Keep aside.

For the Gravy

  • Combine all ingredients except coconut milk  in a microwave safe bowl & heat on high in a microwave safe bowl for 3 minutes.
  • Add coconut milk and balls in the gravy and heat on high for 1 minute.

Your easy cottage cheese balls gravy is ready to eat – try it with rice or boiled noodles or with bread 🙂
